We loved this B&B, Jon was a great host, friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enough for us including giving us a lift into town for our evening meal because it was raining. Our room looked out onto the garden at the back, the bed was extremely comfortable and the house and garden are absolutely beautiful and full of character. Breakfast was DIY with lots of choice and a chance to meet other guests. Wine and beer are in the fridge and available to buy at a reasonable price. Jon has put a lot of thought into the detail of this place and it makes for a very pleasant stay. We loved our brief stay at the Torquay and hope to return one day. Thanks for everything Jon, it was lovely to meet you and Frankie! Angela and Dan

Jon was an excellent host. He really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Most importantly he is a great communicator and was very approachable. Breakfast was continental and was dilligently restocked each day for us (we travelled as 2 couples in seperate rooms). We chose to eat together in the main dining room, it was great with a selection of cereals, toast, yoghurt and eggs which were easily heated up in the egg cooker provided. All in all we were all happy with our stay, 3 thumbs up because 2 isn't enough.

We had a beautiful room and loved the extra special touches like breakfast, all the information available, friendly greet etc. The whole property was clean, in a great location and excellent value for money. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay.
